The internship offers an opportunity to work on high-profile European competition cases, assisting with economic analysis, data modeling, and client deliverables, while gaining exposure to consulting in the competition policy and regulation sector.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in identifying potential issues and conducting analyses to support economic arguments
Gather and assemble evidence from data and research to support expert opinions and recommendations
Program, build models, and perform regression analyses using statistical software such as Stata, Python, or R
Contribute to the development and presentation of client deliverables, including expert reports and white papers
Communicate complex economic concepts and arguments clearly to internal teams
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of analyses and opinions
Requirements
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in economics from well-regarded institutions, graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
Strong foundation in microeconomics, industrial economics and or econometrics
High degree of numeracy and comfort with data manipulation
Familiarity with econometric techniques is desirable
Curious and analytical thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems
Effective oral and written communication skills
Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages
Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership
Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities
Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills
Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events
