Job Description

The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy to position CRA as a leading economic consulting firm, driving revenue growth through thought leadership, brand evolution, and team leadership in content creation and marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to showcase CRA's economic consulting expertise
  • Create and optimize thought leadership publications, white papers, social media content, and marketing campaigns to drive client engagement
  • Establish processes to capture, refine, and commercialize consultant insights into market-leading content
  • Design content frameworks that support business development and client acquisition efforts
  • Evolve CRA's brand and develop integrated content strategies to differentiate the firm in the market
  • Manage brand assets, visual identity, and ensure consistent market presence
  • Build and lead a high-performing content team, including writers and designers
  • Manage relationships with external PR agencies and communication partners to enhance market reach
  • Implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure content impact on revenue and business development

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of progressive experience in content strategy and communications, preferably within professional services or B2B consulting environments.
  • Proven track record of transforming technical expertise into revenue-generating marketing assets.
  • Experience managing creative teams, including two writers and three designers, with a clear growth trajectory.
  • Experience managing external agency relationships, such as PR agencies and communications partners.
  • Strong understanding of professional services business development cycles and client engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior-level stakeholders and translate complex concepts into compelling narratives.
  • Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that converts economic consulting expertise into market-facing assets.
  • Ability to design and implement systematic processes to capture, refine, and commercialize consultant insights into thought leadership.
  • Experience establishing content frameworks that support business development cycles and client acquisition strategies, including client presentations, webinars, and conference materials.
  • Experience creating measurable content-to-revenue pathways that demonstrate clear ROI on intellectual capital investment.
  • Ability to evolve and optimize publications portfolio, including thought leadership, white papers, campaigns, social media, to drive client engagement and business development opportunities.
  • Experience developing integrated content strategies that differentiate a firm in competitive pursuits and market positioning.
  • Ability to manage all brand assets, design resources, and visual identity to ensure consistent, compelling market presence.
  • Experience establishing and managing a high-performing content team, including hiring, setting growth trajectories, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to build and lead a content development process that scales with business growth.
  • Experience managing relationships with external PR agencies and communications partners to amplify market reach.
  • Ability to implement performance metrics and KPIs that track content impact on business development and revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with senior stakeholders and translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.
  • Educational background or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or related fields (implied by the seniority and experience requirements).
