The Content Writer Editorial Specialist at CRA is responsible for creating, editing, and managing internal and external marketing content, including articles, reports, web content, and thought leadership materials, to support business development and brand engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and proofread external and internal messaging materials such as articles, reports, newsletters, and web content.
Manage marketing content throughout the production workflow, including planning, drafting, approval, and publication.
Ensure marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and style standards.
Support the development and execution of the firm's content management strategy.
Collaborate with consultants and design teams to produce branded marketing content and review materials prior to publication.
Write and update web content in coordination with corporate departments, serving as primary writer or project manager.
Edit and proofread thought leadership pieces, ensuring clarity and accuracy of technical concepts.
Research and apply proper usage rules, fact-check documents, and ensure content quality.
Manage electronic distribution of thought leadership content and update client lists using CRM platforms.
Write summaries and posts for the website, and coordinate industry directory submissions.
Edit, proof, and style resumes and bios, and conduct outreach to gather CVs from new employees.
Coordinate the production and publication of firm podcast content.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related area of study
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent editing and writing skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere with deadline-driven projects requiring initiative and follow-through to be completed
