Job Description
The Content Writer Editorial Specialist at CRA is responsible for creating, editing, and managing internal and external marketing content, including articles, reports, web content, and thought leadership pieces, to support business development and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and proofread external and internal marketing content including articles, reports, newsletters, and web content.
- Manage the production workflow of marketing materials from planning to publication and measurement.
- Ensure marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and style standards.
- Collaborate with consultants and design teams to develop strategic, branded content and review layouts.
- Write and update web content in coordination with corporate departments, serving as primary content manager.
- Fact-check and ensure clarity, conciseness, and accuracy of thought leadership and technical materials.
- Apply styles and templates to newsletters, articles, and reports for electronic distribution.
- Coordinate and project manage content submissions, including industry directories and CVs.
- Edit and proof resumes, bios, and web profiles, and gather content from new employees.
- Coordinate the production and publication of firm podcast content.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related area of study
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in writing, editing, or content creation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
- Excellent editing and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere with deadline-driven projects requiring initiative and follow-through to be completed
