Job Description
The Content Writer Editorial Specialist at CRA is responsible for creating, editing, and managing internal and external marketing content, including articles, reports, web content, and thought leadership pieces, to support business development and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and proofread external and internal messaging materials such as articles, reports, brochures, and web content.
- Manage marketing content throughout the production workflow, including planning, drafting, approval, and publication.
- Ensure marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines and style standards.
- Support the planning and execution of content management strategies.
- Collaborate with consultants and design teams to develop and refine marketing content and layouts.
- Write and update web content in coordination with corporate departments.
- Edit and proofread thought leadership pieces for clarity and accuracy.
- Research usage rules and fact-check documents for accuracy.
- Apply styles to newsletters, articles, and reports for electronic distribution.
- Coordinate the production and publication of firm podcast content.
- Manage electronic distribution of thought leadership materials and update client lists using CRM platforms.
- Write summaries and posts for the firm's website.
- Project manage industry directory submissions and gather content from practices and consultants.
- Edit, proof, and update resumes and bios, and conduct outreach to gather CVs from new employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related area of study
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent editing and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere with deadline-driven projects requiring initiative and follow-through to be completed
- Flexibility, and comfortable adapting to changing priorities and circumstances
