Job Description
The Content Writer Editorial Specialist at CRA is responsible for creating, editing, and managing internal and external marketing content, including articles, reports, web content, and thought leadership materials, to support business development and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and proofread internal and external marketing content including articles, reports, web content, and sales materials.
- Manage the production workflow of marketing materials from planning to publication, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to guidelines.
- Collaborate with consultants and design teams to develop strategic marketing content and oversee review processes.
- Write and update web content and serve as project manager for web materials, including bios and CVs.
- Research, fact-check, and ensure clarity and accuracy of thought leadership pieces and technical documents.
- Coordinate the drafting, production, and publication of firm podcast content.
- Support content management strategies and industry directory submissions.
- Leverage CRM platforms to update client lists and track thought leadership activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related area of study
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in writing, editing, or content creation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus
- Experience with podcasts is a plus
- Excellent editing and writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere with deadline-driven projects requiring initiative and follow-through to be completed
