Job Description
This role involves providing billing, financial reporting, and customer care services within a professional services environment, supporting project management and ensuring compliance with client contracts while managing high-volume, detail-oriented tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collect, track, and manage insurance claim information and communicate with relevant parties.
- Create and distribute weekly financial reports to clients, counsel, and insurance carriers.
- Coordinate and submit monthly and quarterly financial forecasts in a high-volume environment.
- Manage cash collections through phone calls and correspondence.
- Monitor and update project budgets, including processing budget increases and external contractor fees.
- Ensure billing compliance with client contracts and obtain necessary approvals for write-offs.
- Resolve billing issues and handle ad hoc billing requests.
- Review unbilled invoices for timely billing and identify potential issues.
- Assist with accounts receivable and collections as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2-3 years of experience with time materials management and fixed price billing, including e-billing, ideally in a professional services environment
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Word, Excel and Oracle or similar billing system
- Able to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and deadline driven
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working independently with limited supervision
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with an interest in continuous process improvement
