Job Description
The role involves leading strategy and operations for Celonis' North America region, focusing on shaping go-to-market plans, driving business growth, coordinating cross-functional teams, and building a high-performance sales and operations team to support the company's expansion and success in the SaaS process intelligence industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Strategy and Operations for North America, including managing the Ops team tied to sales.
- Act as COO for the region, coordinating with stakeholders across functions such as Marketing, Talent, Enablement, and Product.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, including territory planning and verticalization.
- Align GTM strategy with partners and ecosystem teams to enable rapid scaling through indirect channels.
- Define key metrics, KPIs, and processes to unify cross-functional teams and improve business performance.
- Support programs that drive pipeline creation, sales closure, and customer delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day business operations including performance management, compensation, planning, and forecasting.
- Coordinate with EMEA and JAPAC regions to ensure alignment and share best practices.
- Build and scale a high-performance team and establish regional leadership as COO.
Requirements
- Proven ability to be a critical and thoughtful business partner.
- Proven ability to develop, coach and inspire a highly motivated team of Ops rockstars.
- Knowledge of enterprise SaaS selling, including market positioning.
- Knowledge of working with partners and establishing ecosystem-awareness and engagement in a sales team.
- Ability to operate in a global environment, with thoughtfulness on balancing global standardization with localization for impact.
- Experience in setting the strategy for an integrated Go-To-Market (GTM) approach, with clarity of roles, handoffs, accountabilities, and ratios.
- Experience in driving the planning process for North America and shaping the territory model.
- Experience in building a GTM plan that considers verticalization, planning, recruitment, and talent management.
- Experience working with ecosystem teams to ensure GTM strategy is partner-friendly and aligned for rapid scaling through indirect channels.
- Ability to define key metrics, KPIs, and processes that cut across functions to bring teams together.
- Ability to define and support key programs that help sales functions create pipeline, close business, and deliver value to customers.
- Experience in ensuring day-to-day support on business performance, compensation, planning, and forecasting across pre-sales, post-sales, and ecosystem functions.
- Experience in coordinating with EMEA and JAPAC regions to ensure alignment, continuity, and sharing of best practices.
- Experience in building and scaling a high-performance team that embodies a high-performance culture in an emotionally aware and passionate way.
- Ability to establish and run a broader leadership team acting as a COO for the region.
