Job Description
The role involves leading strategy and operations for Pure Storage's public sector business, focusing on developing go-to-market plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, influencing product strategy, and managing cross-functional teams to drive growth and operational excellence within government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the public sector go-to-market strategy and operational plans
- Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for public sector frameworks such as FEDRAMP and FISMA
- Influence product and service strategy based on public sector customer feedback
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to pipeline growth, win rate, renewal rate, and compliance
- Collaborate across functions to drive business growth and operational excellence in the public sector
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in strategy, operations, or program leadership within the U.S. federal, state, or local government technology landscape.
- Strong, working knowledge of government procurement processes and essential regulatory compliance frameworks, such as FEDRAMP and FISMA.
- Demonstrated success in building, implementing, and managing programmatic structures that scale operations, drive accountability, and enhance execution across both direct and virtual cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional ability to build consensus, communicate complex strategies to executive-level stakeholders, and influence internal priorities without direct authority.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business and operational issues, using data and insights to develop and implement creative and effective solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
- Ability to work from the Raleigh, North Carolina office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
