Job Description

The Expand Account Executive at Celonis is responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding relationships within existing enterprise accounts in the Public Sector and Financial Services verticals, focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and deepening customer engagement through tailored solutions and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and execute expansion opportunities within existing accounts in the Public Sector and FSI verticals
  • Build and nurture relationships with multiple levels of client organizations, including executive stakeholders
  • Understand client business objectives and operational challenges to articulate how Celonis solutions can deliver impact
  • Lead account expansion activities such as upsells, cross-sells, and renewals
  • Collaborate with Value Engineers and Customer Success Managers to design tailored solutions and presentations
  • Partner with consulting firms, SaaS partners, and ecosystem players to identify and execute joint expansion opportunities
  • Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM records for visibility and alignment

Requirements

  • Proven success in expanding existing enterprise SaaS accounts, with measurable revenue growth achievements.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Track record of selling enterprise software solutions to C-level executives.
  • Experience collaborating with consulting partners or other enterprise solution providers.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Deep understanding of Public Sector and Financial Services FSI markets.
