Job Description

This role involves managing and expanding relationships with large retail and consumer goods enterprise clients in Germany and Austria, driving complex SaaS sales through consultative approaches, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet strategic business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing strategic Food Retail customers to ensure renewals and identify new business opportunities.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles by collaborating cross-functionally and engaging with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Represent the Celonis process intelligence platform and communicate its value to clients across various business lines.
  • Achieve revenue targets by closing six- to seven-figure deals within assigned accounts.
  • Engage with partners such as consulting firms and SaaS vendors to support sales efforts.
  • Lead complex sales processes by orchestrating virtual teams including business development, marketing, sales engineering, and customer success teams.

Requirements

  • 8 - 12 years of total relevant work experience in management, business process consulting, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and engage effectively at the C-level (e.g., CFO, CPO, COO).
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of key processes and KPIs throughout the entire enterprise value chain in Food Retail, particularly within the domains of Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Solid understanding of the Food Retail industry key players, trends, and challenges.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German (fluent) and English.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving, ever-changing, high-growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to be collaborative, inclusive, embrace diversity, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in managing accounts from a strategic and existing customer perspective, including land-and-expand strategies.
  • Experience engaging cross line-of-business at C-level and below.
  • Ability to represent the entire Celonis process intelligence platform.
  • Experience managing individual revenue targets for closing six- to seven-figure deals within accounts.
  • Experience driving complex sales cycles through orchestrating virtual teams including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, pre-sales, customer success managers, professional services, and implementation partners.
