Job Description

This role involves managing and expanding relationships with large banking and insurance clients, driving AI-enabled process intelligence sales, and closing high-value deals through strategic, consultative engagement with C-level stakeholders in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing banking customer accounts through land-and-expand strategies.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and C-level stakeholders to understand customer needs.
  • Drive sales of Celonis Process Intelligence solutions across the enterprise value chain with a focus on industry-specific use cases.
  • Translate customer challenges into AI-enabled use cases that demonstrate measurable value.
  • Achieve revenue targets by closing six- to seven-figure deals within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with partners such as consulting firms and SaaS vendors to support sales efforts.
  • Lead complex sales cycles by orchestrating virtual teams including business development, marketing, sales engineers, and customer success teams.

Requirements

  • 8 years of relevant experience, ideally spanning both Management Consulting and SaaS sales, or a proven track record of success and career progression in either domain
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders and engage effectively at the C-level (CFO, CPO, COO, etc.)
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of processes and KPIs within large Banking Financial Services organisations
  • Solid understanding of the Banking industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in German (fluent) and English
  • Ability to adapt to a fast moving, ever changing, high growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset
  • Willingness to be collaborative, inclusive, to embrace diversity, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to leverage internal resources and work as a team
