Job Description
A Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize value using the Process Intelligence Platform through value assessments, workshops, and driving adoption and expansion of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices
- Conduct value assessments and facilitate business value workshops
- Identify and qualify opportunities for process improvement using Celonis platform
- Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing the platform
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis as a core business transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance platform capabilities
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and or respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software SaaS Provider, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders, and sales acumen with a sovereign and winning appearance.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP, experience with implementing AI agents like IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, RPA or BI Tools, or building Dashboards or Apps Action Flows, and knowledge of Python and/or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement, deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Advanced industry expertise in Retail or CPG, with a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities of the C-Suite, and to build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
- Project management experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
- Good understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain function and or strategic transformation initiatives e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Technology and or Management, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Ability to travel mainly domestically up to 35%.
- Total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, commission, equity, benefits, health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off, with a base salary range of $131,000 to $177,000 USD for the role in New York.
