Job Description
A Senior Value Engineer at Celonis is a trusted advisor responsible for guiding customers through the value realization process using the Process Intelligence Platform, including identifying opportunities, building business cases, facilitating workshops, and driving platform adoption and expansion to achieve strategic business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks
- Conduct value assessments and communicate strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Derive and initiate process improvement measures and enterprise change initiatives
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, and renewing
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed the Celonis platform as a transformation tool
- Provide feedback to product teams to enhance platform capabilities based on use cases
Requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and or respective Software deployment, ideally in a customer-facing role with a Consultancy or Business Software SaaS Provider, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders, and sales acumen with a sovereign and winning appearance.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications e.g. SAP, experience with implementing AI agents such as IBM Watson Orchestrate, Amazon Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, RPA, BI Tools, or building Dashboards or Apps Action Flows, and knowledge of Python and or SQL.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent, and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Advanced industry expertise in Retail or CPG, with a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities of the C-Suite and build an integrated Celonis Process Intelligence roadmap.
- Project management experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
- Good understanding of the Finance and or Supply Chain function and or strategic transformation initiatives e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Technology and or Management, Informatics, Mathematics, or similar.
- Ability to travel mainly domestic up to 35%.

Base salary range: $131,000 - $177,000 USD (location-dependent)
