Job Description
The role involves developing and maintaining core release infrastructure to improve automation, reliability, and developer experience across engineering teams at Celonis. It requires ownership of critical systems, collaboration with leadership, and driving initiatives to enhance deployment processes and platform scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Accelerate software delivery by improving automation and tooling to reduce Time to Production
- Design and implement developer-facing infrastructure to enhance software quality and reduce friction
- Partner with leadership to define the vision and roadmap for the internal developer platform
- Lead initiatives to expand GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and self-service deployment patterns
- Scale feature flag-based deployment strategies for controlled and reliable rollouts
- Enhance observability, incident response, and deployment safety across the software stack
- Own critical systems from concept to rollout in collaboration with SRE, Infrastructure, and Product teams
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in backend, DevOps, and/or platform engineering roles.
- Experience as a full stack engineer, working end to end.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Solid understanding of modern cloud-native systems, especially containers and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
- Proven ability to lead projects or own critical systems in production.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to solve problems and build great tools.
- Ownership of critical systems from concept to rollout in partnership with SRE, Platform Infrastructure, and Product teams.
