Job Description
The Project Manager at Celonis is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact process intelligence projects for major clients, focusing on deploying the platform, driving business value, and ensuring customer satisfaction through strategic planning, stakeholder management, and continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, high-impact projects for customers
- Partner with sales, value engineering, and product engineering teams to deploy the platform and identify business value opportunities
- Structure, plan, and manage project scope, timeline, resources, and deliverables
- Organize and monitor project execution, ensuring on-time delivery and quality
- Manage relationships with client teams and stakeholders, including senior executives and technical staff
- Lead project governance, report on progress, risks, and opportunities, and facilitate decision-making
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the services team to ensure delivery consistency and professional development
- Support pre-sales efforts by contributing to opportunity framing, implementation approaches, and proposal development
- Drive internal continuous improvement by integrating field learnings into delivery methodologies and best practices
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years experience managing complex projects with both business and technical dimensions, in a consulting or professional services environment, with a focus on technical or software projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, onshore offshore teams, and various clients stakeholder groups, from executive to operational levels.
- Proven ability to manage uncertainty and complexity for new type of projects without established best practices, e.g., first-time projects for first-time problems.
- Strong track record of managing projects with a focus on delivering tangible business value, including applying strategic thinking to deeply understand customer objectives, conducting feasibility studies, and ensuring project outcomes are measurable and directly align with customer objectives.
- Proven track record of strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in pre-sales collaboration, opportunity qualification, and proposal development.
- Relevant certifications such as Agile Scrum, PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma.
- Fluency in German is required.
- Experience in delivering complex projects with data-driven solutions for supply chain optimizations is highly appreciated.
