Job Description
A Product Data Scientist at Celonis is responsible for developing data-driven insights, building data pipelines, and creating visualizations to support strategic decision-making within a fast-growing Process Intelligence organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build data-informed insights and communicate findings to product and engineering teams
- Create visualizations and narratives to present quantitative insights and facilitate discussions
- Apply statistical analysis and modeling techniques to various data sources to drive product improvements and resource optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver scalable data analysis
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for new data sources
- Refine data engineering processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Present and communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong focus on Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science
- Master's degree is preferred
- 6 years relevant experience as a Product Analytics Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role, partnering with product, engineering, or growth teams
- Technical proficiency with analytical tools for data extraction, visualization, and analysis, including SQL, Python, and Pandas
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning
- Experience working with large datasets and predictive modeling
- Outcome-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple goals while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working in agile teams using collaboration software like Jira or similar
- Eagerness to work in a fast-growing organization with diverse and international teams spread across multiple locations
