Job Description
A Product Data Scientist at Celonis analyzes and interprets data related to user behavior, product telemetry, and infrastructure to generate actionable insights, build data models, and communicate findings to support strategic decision-making in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build data-informed insights and communicate findings to product and engineering teams
- Create visualizations and narratives to present quantitative insights and facilitate discussions
- Apply statistical analysis and modeling techniques on various data sources to drive product improvements and resource optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, build data pipelines, perform analyses, and deliver insights at scale
- Refine data engineering processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Present and communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong focus on Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science
- Master's degree is preferred
- 6 years relevant experience as a Product Analytics Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role, partnering with product, engineering, or growth teams
- Technical proficiency with analytical tools for data extraction, visualization, and analysis, specifically SQL, Python, and Pandas
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning
- Experience working with large datasets and predictive modeling
- Outcome-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple goals while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working in agile teams using collaboration software like Jira or similar
- Eagerness to work in a fast-growing organization with diverse and international teams spread across multiple locations
