Job Description
A Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer at Celonis is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based microservices and infrastructure to enhance the scalability, reliability, and performance of the company's process mining platform, working across cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement cloud-based microservices across Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery and deployment
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
- Conduct performance analysis and optimize system scalability and performance
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure and microservices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on cloud infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Strong expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s).
- Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Action, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
