Job Description
The role involves managing and overseeing office operations across multiple European locations, ensuring excellent employee service, facility management, and vendor coordination, while leading a small team and maintaining budget responsibilities in a fast-paced tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operations and provide service in the London office, ensuring a positive employee experience
- Oversee facility operations, building maintenance, and landlord relations for multiple office locations
- Coordinate office services such as catering, setup, logistics, and third-party service deliveries
- Supervise health, safety, and local compliance across all office sites
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams on onboarding and office strategy
- Manage the operational budget, including POs and invoices
- Track site utilization and attendance data
- Remote management of smaller offices in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Stockholm, ensuring service levels and safety compliance
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of operations and office management experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment, hotel, or professional services environment with a focus on facility management.
- Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional body language at all times.
- A passion for providing services with a sense of humor and an eye for detail.
- Strong administrative, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent IT and AV skills.
- A strong financial understanding with the ability to manage a budget autonomously.
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, committed, and determined.
- Ability to autonomously develop and implement solutions, find cost savings, or develop creative ideas according to the respective need.
- Charismatic team player with the ability to coordinate themselves.
- Reliable, accurate, and detail-oriented with a proactive and professional Can-Do attitude.
- Neat appearance at all times.
