Job Description
A senior project controls manager responsible for enhancing the delivery of complex construction projects through strategic planning, scalable solutions, and leadership in cost, schedule, change, and risk management, with a focus on innovation and industry impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the controls for cost, schedule, change, and risk on projects to enable accurate decision-making.
- Maximize the development of team members and educate clients to improve project controls capabilities.
- Develop scalable and repeatable best practices, tools, and solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders to support efficient project delivery.
- Ensure the project’s understanding and focus on the plan, contributing to successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- A construction engineering background.
- Solid capability in the control of cost, schedule, and change, along with deep experience in developing project controls processes and reporting that align with strategic objectives and broader project context.
- Communication skills with the charisma, presence, and influence to engage construction teams, drive adoption of new approaches, and promote best practices across the board.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities, capable of guiding others and building high-performing planning and controls functions.
- A strong track record of implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that created significant positive impact across complex projects.
