Key Responsibilities
Own the controls for cost, schedule, change, and risk on projects to enable accurate decision-making.
Maximize the development of team members and educate clients to improve project controls capabilities.
Develop scalable and repeatable best practices, tools, and solutions in collaboration with the team.
Provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders to support efficient project delivery.
Ensure project understanding and focus on the plan to achieve project outcomes, influencing team and client adherence.
Requirements
A construction engineering background.
Solid capability in the control of cost, schedule, and change, along with deep experience in developing project controls processes and reporting that align with strategic objectives and broader project context.
Excellent communication skills, including charisma, presence, and influence to engage construction teams, drive adoption of new approaches, and promote best practices across the board.
Proven leadership capabilities as a leader, coach, and developer of teams, capable of guiding others and building high-performing planning and controls functions.
A strong track record of implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that created significant positive impact across complex projects.
Experience owning controls for cost, schedule, change, and risk on one or more projects to enable accurate decisions for project teams.
Impact demonstrated through a history of delivering positive results in complex projects.
Ability to develop scalable and repeatable best practices and tools in collaboration with a team to achieve long-term impact.
Experience providing simple, actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels to help them deliver their part of the project more efficiently and effectively.
Willingness to be responsible for the understanding and focus on the project plan, even if not the ultimate project manager.
Ability to work in dynamic, hands-on environments with complex, high-value projects including data centres, infrastructure, high-tech manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and complex buildings.
Willingness to travel as needed, including site visits, workshops, and international travel to locations in Europe or the Middle East.
Ability to document and evolve solutions into a knowledge repository for industry-wide use, including testing and iterating on new products in the field.
