Job Description
An internship role focused on developing and maintaining sustainability-related features within the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform, involving data analysis, building data pipelines, and supporting the creation of innovative solutions to address business and environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend existing sustainability products by developing new functions and fixing bugs
- Explore data availability from source systems like SAP, Oracle, and Workday for sustainability use cases
- Build data pipelines for cleaning, transforming, and contextualizing data from source systems
- Support the development of prototypes for new sustainability use cases using AI and other technologies
- Translate user stories into actionable development tasks focusing on user requirements and interfaces
- Contribute to the execution of initiatives and projects within the sustainability product team
Requirements
- Studying in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field
- Skills in Python for scripting and data manipulation
- Basic understanding and curiosity for data science concepts and technologies
- Basic understanding of relational databases
- Ability to explore data availability for sustainability use cases in various source systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with YAML and building and integrating REST APIs is a plus
- Ability to develop and extend existing products by developing new functions and features or fixing bug requests using the capabilities of the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform
- Support the development of prototypes for new use cases with cutting-edge technology such as AI
- Translate user stories into actionable development tasks with a strong focus on user requirements, user journey, and user interface
- Support the sustainability product team in executing other important initiatives and projects
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
