Job Description
The Principal Client Value Partner at Celonis is a strategic and technical leader responsible for guiding enterprise clients through digital transformation by advising on data architecture, AI deployment, and business value realization, while orchestrating internal teams and engaging with C-suite executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted advisor to CIOs and CFOs, translating technical designs into business outcomes and ROI.
- Advise on high-performance, near real-time data ingestion strategies to ensure the Celonis platform has the right data at the right time.
- Architect secure, enterprise-grade AI solutions, including grounding AI via RAG and ensuring data governance and security.
- Mobilize and lead multidisciplinary teams of Applied AI engineers and Data Scientists to deliver technical solutions.
- Coordinate with customer and product engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges and blockers.
Requirements
- Principal-level experience in a client-facing, technical role such as Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, Technical Account Management, or technically-savvy Engagement or Client Success roles.
- Strong conceptual and architectural understanding of modern data pipelines, including standard batch loads and near real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka, APIs, streaming APIs, and micro-batching.
- Solid grasp of how to securely deploy Generative AI in the enterprise, including understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), private model hosting on platforms like Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock, and data masking techniques.
- Conceptual understanding of the modern enterprise stack, with some previous hands-on experience with SAP being advantageous.
- Exceptional ability to untangle complex technical challenges and present clear, actionable roadmaps to non-technical executives, demonstrating strong executive presence.
- Strong proficiency in the German language.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant technical client-facing role.
- Experience advising on high-performance, near real-time data ingestion strategies such as streaming APIs, Kafka, micro-batching, and ensuring the Celonis platform has the right data at the right time.
- Experience architecting secure, enterprise-grade AI solutions, including AI governance, data sanitization, and security protocols.
- Ability to mobilize and lead multidisciplinary teams of Applied AI engineers and Data Scientists, acting as a bridge between customer and product engineering teams to resolve complex technical blockers.
