Job Description
The Platform Manager at Celonis is a senior technical and strategic role responsible for overseeing the enterprise architecture, integration, and modernization of the Celonis platform to deliver maximum business value and support enterprise transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the overall architecture, data, and cloud strategy for the Celonis platform within the customer's IT landscape.
- Establish architectural principles, policies, and standards, and lead architecture review processes to ensure platform integrity.
- Drive enterprise modernization by leveraging emerging technologies such as AI and process intelligence graphs.
- Design complex data pipelines and integration patterns to connect disparate systems into a unified digital twin of the business.
- Present technical designs and value propositions to senior executives, aligning solutions with strategic business goals.
- Manage customer escalations and ensure delivery alignment with customer strategy and targets.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, data scientists, and domain experts in customer engagements.
- Act as the primary liaison between customer technical teams and Celonis Product Engineering to influence product development and resolve technical issues.
- Help customers establish and scale a Celonis Center of Excellence, mentoring internal architects and process leads.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or a CTO-level role at a major software vendor.
- Mastery of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Expert-level SQL and Python skills for data integration.
- Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Deep understanding of SaaS ecosystems including SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, as well as legacy on-premise architectures.
- Demonstrated experience in Agentic AI, Machine Learning workflows, and process mining methodologies.
- Strong foundation in cybersecurity posture, data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and SOC2 ISO compliance within cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience in designing and defining enterprise architecture, data, and cloud strategies ensuring scalability, performance, and security across global deployments.
- Ability to establish architectural principles, policies, and standards, and lead or consult on Architecture Review Boards (ARB).
- Experience in driving enterprise modernization leveraging techniques like capability mapping and architecting solutions with emergent technologies such as Agentic AI and Process Intelligence Graph.
- Proven ability to design complex data pipelines, including OCPM, ETL, ELT, and API ecosystems that connect disparate systems into a unified Digital Twin of the business.
- Experience in confidently presenting technical designs and value realizations to CIOs, CFOs, and CTOs, aligning strategic goals with technical capabilities.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders to establish the program roadmap and resolve customer escalations effectively.
- Experience organizing and leading customer advisory boards to address industry-specific challenges and innovations.
- Proven leadership in mobilizing and leading multidisciplinary teams of Applied AI engineers, Data Scientists, and Domain Experts.
- Experience acting as the primary conduit between customer technical teams and Product Engineering to influence product roadmaps and resolve technical blockers.
- Experience helping customers establish and scale a Celonis Center of Excellence (CoE), mentoring internal architects and process leads.
