Job Description

The role involves leveraging process mining and AI technologies to identify, analyze, and realize operational value within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, acting as a strategic advisor to clients and driving business transformation through process optimization and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and map strategic priorities to high-impact Celonis use cases in CPG operations
  • Architect solutions connecting data across the value chain to optimize complex ecosystems
  • Build data-backed business cases demonstrating operational and financial impact
  • Develop demos and business cases to secure expansion opportunities
  • Conduct value assessments and communicate strategic roadmaps to executives
  • Lead value workstreams for pilots and implementations, ensuring effective process monitoring
  • Guide customers on process improvements and AI integration within core business functions
  • Facilitate workshops to identify and qualify process enhancement opportunities
  • Derive and initiate enterprise-wide process improvement measures
  • Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level stakeholders
  • Create reusable assets and best practices for the Value Engineering team
  • Act as a senior resource and mentor team members in CPG terminology and stakeholder management
  • Provide product feedback to enhance the platform for CPG-specific requirements
  • Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expansion, adoption, and renewal
  • Build strategic expansion roadmaps embedding Celonis as a transformation platform
  • Contribute feedback for product development to support new use cases and platform enhancements

Requirements

  • 8 years of relevant experience in Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations, ideally combining time at a CPG FMCG company with Management Consulting or Sales Engineering.
  • Possess granular knowledge of the CPG value chain, specifically in areas such as Demand Supply Planning, Logistics, Trade Promotions, or Consumer Retail Operations.
  • Proven track record of managing the full customer lifecycle, including landing new accounts, expanding footprint through strategic upselling, and driving long-term value to ensure high retention and organic advocacy.
  • Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and driving them to resolution, with the ability to impact the P L through process improvement and technology deployment.
  • Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications such as SAP S 4HANA, Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, SAP IBP, and experience with data visualization, SQL, or Python is a strong plus.
  • Experience presenting to and working with senior stakeholders, with the ability to navigate complex internal structures and clearly communicate value to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and setting own direction within an account team to achieve the best results.
  • Degree in Industrial Business Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Informatics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
  • Ability to build and present data-backed business cases that articulate the financial and operational impact of Process Intelligence, including metrics such as reducing Cost of Goods Sold, optimizing working capital, or improving On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery.
  • Ability to undertake Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.
  • Lead the value workstream for pilots and implementations, ensuring the digital twin strategy effectively monitors process health in fast-paced, high-volume retail and consumer environments.
  • Work cross-functionally to address implementation hurdles, including defining standards for Retailer Compliance, master data governance, or supply network visibility.
  • Run business value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives.
  • Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
  • Turn solutions into reusable assets and use cases for the broader Value Engineering team.
  • Act as a senior resource for the team, mentoring junior engineers on CPG terminology, seasonality nuances, and retail stakeholder management.
  • Provide specific feedback to product teams on platform enhancements for the CPG vertical, such as Trade Spend visibility or SKU Rationalization.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal of the platform.
  • Build strategic expansion roadmaps embedding the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a core business transformation tool.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance the platform and Apps based on new use cases.
