Job Description
The FP&A Manager at Affinity is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, analyzing key SaaS metrics, and providing strategic financial insights to support organizational growth and decision-making in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the annual planning, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes.
- Develop, track, and report on key SaaS financial and operational metrics such as ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and gross margin.
- Own the detailed operating expense budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to manage budgets and identify efficiencies.
- Design, maintain, and improve complex financial models to support decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports, analysis, and materials for the Board of Directors, executive team, and investors.
- Drive improvements in planning, forecasting, and reporting systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP A, and or a fast-paced environments like Investment Banking, PE VC, or Consulting.
- Expertise in SaaS financial and operational metrics such as ARR, LTV, CAC, Churn, and Gross Margin analysis.
- Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets ability to build complex, driver-based models from scratch.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders, department heads, and executive leadership.
- Strong business partnership orientation and the ability to influence decisions and drive accountability across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $131,120 to $163,900 USD
Work schedule: Hybrid model with in-office 2-3 days per week, typically Tuesday through Thursday
