Job Description
The role involves acting as a strategic advisor to energy sector clients, translating their vision into actionable value through process intelligence and digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on operational excellence, value realization, and driving large-scale business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client strategic goals and map them to operational initiatives using the Celonis platform
- Architect and optimize end-to-end value chains such as Capital Projects, Asset Management, and Supply Chain
- Build business cases and strategic roadmaps to demonstrate the financial impact of Process Intelligence
- Lead executive relationships and oversee value realization in large-scale transformation programs
- Guide customers on organizational design and maturation of Centers of Excellence
- Identify and qualify process improvement opportunities across operations, finance, and procurement
- Facilitate business value workshops and communicate strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
- Scale best practices and develop reusable assets from client successes
- Coach and mentor team members on executive relationship management and utility sector nuances
- Provide feedback to product teams to align development with sector-specific needs
Requirements
- 15 years of relevant experience, ideally combining time at a top-tier Utility, Energy Conglomerate, or Renewables developer with Strategy Consulting, with a strong understanding of the complexities of regulated vs. unregulated markets.
- Deep industry expertise in the energy sector, specifically in areas such as Asset Lifecycle Management, Capital Project Controls, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations CIS.
- Proven track record of driving large-scale transformation programs that impact the P&L through capital efficiency, outage reduction, and working capital optimization.
- Technical fluency in the modern utility stack, including SAP IS-U, Maximo, Oracle Primavera, and the ability to translate Celonis use cases into the customer’s specific business landscape.
- Extensive experience presenting to and influencing C-Level executives such as COO, CFO, CIO, with the ability to navigate complex holding company structures and persuade through data, facts, and confidence.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field is required; an MBA is strongly preferred.
- Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
- Ability to work in a full-time capacity, with the willingness to operate in the specified location (e.g., New York) and adhere to the full-time schedule.
- Physical and mental capacity to work in complex, decentralized operating environments, and to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and change initiatives.

Base salary range of $233,000 to $270,000 USD
