Job Description

The role involves leading strategic, data-driven process transformation initiatives for federal public sector clients, acting as a trusted advisor to optimize mission-critical operations using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform and driving large-scale organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into operational value using the Celonis platform
  • Build business cases and strategic roadmaps to demonstrate operational impact to senior leadership
  • Lead executive relationships and oversee value realization in large-scale federal transformations
  • Guide client organization design and maturation of Centers of Excellence for process improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address implementation challenges and define standards for modernization
  • Facilitate workshops to identify process improvement opportunities and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
  • Develop reusable assets, playbooks, and thought leadership based on client successes
  • Coach and mentor team members on government relationships, DoD nuances, and team performance
  • Provide feedback to product teams to align development with government security and scale needs
  • Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including adoption, expansion, and renewal of the platform

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be located in the DMV region (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia).
  • Deep Industry Experience with at least 15 years of relevant experience, ideally combining time within the DoD Uniformed Services with Strategy Consulting or Federal Systems Integration.
  • Granular knowledge of the federal value chain, specifically in areas such as Defense Logistics, Depot Maintenance, Procurement Contract Writing, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR).
  • A track record of driving large-scale transformation programs that impact mission readiness through process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Understanding of the federal IT stack, including ERP consolidation and Cloud migration, and the ability to translate Celonis use cases into the customer’s legacy and modern landscape.
  • Extensive experience presenting to and influencing Senior Executives (SES), Flag General Officers, and navigating complex bureaucratic organizations using data persuasion.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and possessing a leadership style that inspires teams in high-stakes environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field is required; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in stakeholder management, including facilitating business value workshops and communicating strategic roadmaps to senior leadership.
  • Ability to build robust business cases articulating operational impact, such as impact on Sortie Generation Rates, Depot Throughput, or Working Capital Fund efficiency.
  • Technical fluency in the federal IT landscape, including ERP systems, Cloud migration, and translating use cases into legacy and modern environments.
  • Experience in enterprise-wide change initiatives, organization design, and the maturation of Centers of Excellence (CoE).
  • Ability to solve systemic challenges related to legacy system modernization, data interoperability, and complex implementation hurdles.
  • Experience in scaling value through codifying best practices, creating playbooks, and developing reusable assets.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members on government relationship management, DoD acquisition nuances, and team performance.
  • Serve as the Voice of the Mission to product teams, providing feedback to align development roadmaps with government security IL5/IL6 needs.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal of the platform, and building strategic expansion roadmaps.
