Job Description
The Applied AI Engineer at Celonis develops and implements innovative AI solutions to address customer challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prototype, standardize, and deploy AI capabilities that enhance the company's Process Intelligence platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand their problems and design AI solutions using the Process Intelligence platform
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to standardize AI solutions and scale them to the customer base
- Prototype and develop AI solutions, including machine learning and LLM-based solutions, tailored to customer needs
- Identify and package scalable use cases across the platform to drive innovation and expand offerings
- Inform future product development based on customer feedback in collaboration with Product Engineering
- Train internal teams on positioning and deploying AI solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience developing AI solutions for enterprises, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful use cases solving real-world problems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Base salary range: $131,250 - $177,000 USD (for New York, full-time)
