The Accounts Payable Analyst supports the processing of global AP invoices, manages supplier and payment queries, and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and accurate accounts payable operations while driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices into the ERP system (Workday), including matching against POs and executing payments
Handle supplier and payment queries, providing high customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Communicate with stakeholders such as suppliers and treasury department regarding payment status and vendor setup
Ensure correct expense allocations, GL, and VAT codes, collaborating with accounting and tax teams
Support ad-hoc requests and audits related to Accounts Payable
Identify and implement process improvements within the Accounts Payable function to enhance scalability
Requirements
Support the team to process globally Accounts Payable invoices and act as key contact for all supplier and payment queries.
Process invoices into the ERP system Workday, including entering invoices, checking them, matching them against Purchase Orders, and executing payments.
Handle incoming requests on payment status, vendor setup, or general queries around the Accounts Payable process.
Deliver a high level of customer service by handling company management, employee, or supplier requests and replying and acting on them in a timely manner.
Ensure correct expenses assignments, correct General Ledger (GL) and VAT codes, and work with the accounting and Tax team to improve processes.
Support the Accounts Payable team on ad-hoc requests as well as regular audit requests.
Work on process improvement within the Accounts Payable process to help drive scalability.
Hold a BA and/or MA Degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
Ideally have first experiences in accounting or financial administration.
Eager to learn and keen to deliver best-in-class customer experience to internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and employees.
Possess strong communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
