Job Description

A Sales Development Representative at Canonical is responsible for generating and nurturing leads, engaging with prospective customers, and supporting sales campaigns to promote Canonical's open-source enterprise solutions across various industries and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via email, phone, and chat
  • Execute outbound sales marketing campaigns
  • Travel to events and conferences to promote products and generate sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to drive results
  • Research prospective customers and market trends
  • Identify prospects and develop a sales pipeline
  • Attend meetings with new and existing customers to identify opportunities
  • Maintain and nurture leads on global opportunities
