Job Description
A regional HR Manager responsible for leading and scaling the APAC HR team, ensuring compliant and efficient HR operations, advising senior leadership, and driving initiatives related to talent development, employee engagement, diversity, and organizational effectiveness within a global open source technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the regional HR team in APAC
- Deliver precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations
- Advise on HR issues across the employee life-cycle
- Partner with senior leadership to support performance management, talent development, and organizational design
- Manage HR processes such as onboarding, culture, engagement, and succession planning
- Coach and advise managers on employee relations across multiple countries
- Support training and development initiatives for managers
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Design and implement HR policies and global HR projects
- Present HR practices at company events
Requirements
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- HR experience leading initiatives across regions within a technology business
- People management experience
- Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on involvement in the daily HR routines and operations
- Experience in working in a remote first organization
- Ability to leverage data to make informed decisions
- Knowledge and practical implementation of HR practices and employment law across APAC
- Experience in handling and overseeing complex employee relations (ER) matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Fluent in business English written and spoken
- Self motivated, organized, accurate, confident, authentic, results-orientated, open-minded, enthusiastic and energetic
- Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events
