Job Description
A dynamic, entry-level role supporting partner marketing activities at Canonical, focusing on building strategic tech partnerships, executing joint marketing campaigns, and helping to scale the partner program in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of joint go-to-market strategies with global partners
- Assist in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns such as product launches and webinars
- Package Canonical's products into educational and engaging marketing materials
- Contribute to expanding the partner network by providing support and value to partners
- Help develop and optimize partner activities to enable global program scaling
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of partner marketing efforts with company goals
Requirements
- This is a dynamic, entry-level position where you will support the execution of joint marketing activities while learning how to shape and scale partner programs.
- Assist in building joint go-to-market plans with global partners, helping to refine messaging and track pipeline generation.
- Help create and deliver integrated campaigns, including product launches, webinar series, and industry announcements in collaboration with partner teams.
- Learn to package Canonical’s diverse product offerings, from AI and Kubernetes to bare metal, into educational and engaging marketing materials.
- Contribute to the growth of Canonical’s partner network by delivering high-quality support and value to partners.
- Help develop and streamline partner activities, using automation and feedback to help partner programs scale globally.
- Work closely with internal alliances, product, and sales teams to ensure partner marketing efforts align with broader company goals.
- A genuine passion for technology, open source, and the mechanics of B2B marketing.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across different companies.
- An aptitude for data; eager to learn how to assess market opportunities and measure the ROI of marketing investments.
- A proactive drive to deliver high-quality work and a desire to bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Someone who isn’t afraid to think big, take initiative, and learn from every challenge.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves approach, happy to dive into the details to get a project across the finish line.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an enjoyment of writing and presenting.
