Job Description
This role involves working under a Licensed Architect to develop technical aspects of architectural projects, including design, coordination, detailing, and ensuring compliance, while leading project teams and contributing to sustainable and innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects
- Prepare design sketches and site plans
- Coordinate engineering systems with consultants and team members
- Communicate project status, design intent, and updates to stakeholders
- Perform field site observations and visits
- Integrate performance-based and sustainable design strategies into projects
- Ensure technical quality and compliance through QA/QC processes
- Supervise, train, and lead interns and less experienced team members
- Participate in team meetings and project leadership activities
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required.
- Minimum 8 years of related professional experience required.
- Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
- CDT and LEED accreditation preferred.
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
