Job Description
This role involves contributing to architectural design, coordination, and detailing within a multidisciplinary team, supporting project development from concept through construction, and collaborating with engineers and consultants under the supervision of a Licensed Architect.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects.
- Assist in coordinating engineering systems with consultants and engineers.
- Maintain communication with owners and consultants regarding project status and design concerns.
- Prepare design sketches of site plans and ensure project documents are coordinated across disciplines.
- Evaluate designs for code compliance and assist with plan review and approvals.
- Perform field site observations and visits, including physical site walk-throughs.
- Coordinate project tasks with team members and potentially supervise or mentor interns and junior staff.
- Participate in team meetings and project leadership activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or related field required.
- Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required.
- Must be a fully qualified professional.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Must be able to independently contribute design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Must assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers and consultants.
- Must maintain communications with the Owner and Consultants on project status, design intent, concerns, and questions.
- Must prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans.
- Must evaluate design for code compliance and assist in plan check review and approvals.
- Must perform field site observations, including physical walk-through of site.
- Must coordinate with all other team members on project assignments.
- Must be a critical thinker and highly analytical.
- Must be able to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work.
