A Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SaaS solutions, leading development teams, ensuring best engineering practices, and contributing to system architecture and modernization efforts within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure SaaS application architecture
Lead development team through full software development lifecycle
Promote and enforce best practices in software engineering, including DevOps, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring
Oversee modernization, maintenance, and migration of legacy applications
Ensure compliance with SOC2 controls and embed secure development practices
Maintain high code quality through peer reviews and clean coding standards
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and deployment
Contribute to architectural design and implement key initiatives for SaaS systems
Assess and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in software engineering
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 10 years of qualifying experience in software engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in SaaS application development.
Demonstrated ability to architect, design, build, and integrate frontend user interfaces, backend services, and APIs.
Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, cloud computing, APIs, deprecating services, and DevOps practices such as CI/CD and source control Git.
Experience leading hybrid onshore and offshore software engineering teams is preferred.
