Job Description
This position is a senior project management and leadership role within an architecture and design firm, responsible for managing large-scale projects, fostering client relationships, leading teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and maintain client relationships to generate future business opportunities.
- Manage project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability objectives.
- Oversee project planning, including work plan development, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Manage design and documentation processes during construction, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Coordinate workload and provide leadership, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Ensure statutory and quality assurance/quality control standards are met throughout projects.
- Communicate project objectives, issues, and updates effectively to clients and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
- Minimum of 12 years related experience, including managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more.
- Prior Healthcare experience is required.
- Current Licensure preferred.
- LEED certification preferred.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers.
- Strong client leadership and project team management capability for large or multiple projects.
- Must possess strong business acumen.
- Ability to perform as a leader of authority, with expert level knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
