Job Description
The Project Coordinator supports high-impact retail and industrial projects by coordinating project activities, communicating with clients and team members, managing project schedules and budgets, and assisting with business development and marketing efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement project plans and assist in determining project timelines, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
- Monitor project progress, analyze data, and intervene to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and support business development efforts.
- Coordinate and assemble project teams, and oversee team performance through coaching and mentoring.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure quality standards are met.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry standards and expand networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Land Planning, Land Surveying, or equivalent.
- Professional License such as PE, RLA, AICP, CPG, PS is desired.
- Three (3) years of experience in civil engineering, environmental, land planning, survey, or related field.
- Experience in dealing with private land development deadlines and expectations.
- Experience designing residential and commercial land development projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with hydrology reports.
- Experience managing and mentoring other employees.
- Ability to independently apply fundamental engineering, environmental, land planning, and survey concepts.
- Strong communication skills to represent Atwell in all communications with clients, management, and project teams.
- Ability to analyze design, client requirements, and performance standards to assure work product.
- Ability to monitor project status, collect, analyze, and summarize information and trends, and intervene as needed to assure project objectives.
- Ability to develop future business, assist with marketing support and presentations, and follow up on outstanding proposals.
- Ability to proactively build and maintain relationships with current and future clients.
- Ability to coach, counsel, and mentor team members, and plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
- Ability to coordinate recruiting for open positions as needed.
- Ability to maintain the project file by collecting and organizing project materials.
- Ability to ensure product quality and Atwell reputation by following the Atwell Product Quality Manual and established standards.
- Willingness to attend educational workshops, review professional and market segment publications, establish personal networks, and participate in professional societies and trade associations.
- Ability to meet or exceed designated chargeability and hours worked to achieve performance objectives.
