Job Description
This position involves leading complex healthcare architecture projects, providing technical expertise, developing innovative design solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with sustainable and functional goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and serve as a subject matter expert on large, complex healthcare projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning.
- Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
- Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams.
- Develop, review, and modify planning concepts, solutions, and architectural drawings.
- Translate planning concepts into project documentation for construction.
- Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
- Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum of 12 years of related experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market
- Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects in the health market
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
- Must possess strong business acumen
- Ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead less experienced team members
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
- Travel required

Salary range of $130,300 to $162,900 annually, with potential for bonuses and variation based on experience and location
