This position is a senior leadership role in healthcare architecture, responsible for managing complex projects, providing technical expertise, mentoring team members, engaging clients, and advancing innovative design solutions within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and serve as a subject matter expert on large, complex Healthcare projects
Engage and collaborate with project teams, clients, and disciplines to develop technical solutions
Develop, review, and translate planning concepts into architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations
Mentor and guide less experienced team members
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Contribute to industry innovation through research, publishing, and presentations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 12 years of related experience
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the Healthcare market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
Must possess strong business acumen
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
