Job Description
The Specifications Coordinator III supports project teams by organizing and reviewing construction specifications and documentation, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with architects and engineers to improve project quality and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and organize Project Manuals for multiple projects
- Set up projects in Specpoint, invite team members, and configure export requirements
- Collaborate with specification writers to ensure proper formatting and packaging of project manuals
- Communicate deliverable requirements and deadlines to team members and consultants
- Perform QA/QC reviews on project manuals
- Monitor and update project statuses in the specification application
- Mentor Specification Coordinator II's
- Assist with updating master templates
- Manage multiple projects effectively
- Understand deliverable requirements by project phase
- Maintain general knowledge of Division 01 Specifications and construction change documents
Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent GED required
- Associate Degree preferred
- Minimum 6 years of experience working as an Administrative support professional required
- Prior work experience in the A E C industry preferred
- CSI Certification is preferred
- Very strong and proactive verbal and written communication skills
- Very strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to fast paced changes
- Ability to manage time and resources of both you and others
- Detail oriented and ability to check your own work and the work of others
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required
- Proficiency in MasterWorks preferred
- Knowledge of MasterSpec and the use of e-SPECS or Specpoint is preferred
