Job Description
A Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable SaaS applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting cloud infrastructure and modernization efforts within a facility solutions company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based SaaS applications
- Contribute to application modernization and maintain existing applications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring for system reliability
- Support containerization and deployment to AWS using Docker
- Participate in code reviews to ensure performance, security, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to deployment
- Create and maintain technical and end-user documentation
- Identify and optimize performance and scalability improvements
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and engineering best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in software engineering or a similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based SaaS applications.
- Experience building applications on AWS cloud infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring practices.
- Understanding of secure coding and access control practices to support SOC2 compliance.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept through deployment and support.
- Ability to create and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an eye for clean, maintainable code.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Salary range of $112,800 to $141,000 annually
