This internship involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for end users, managing hardware and software upgrades, and assisting with IT operations under the guidance of the IT team, primarily in a Windows and Microsoft Office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor Helpdesk tickets, escalate issues, work with clients, and close tickets
Provide end user support through troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft Office issues
Prepare, set up, and coordinate employee equipment
Identify hardware and software upgrade needs and coordinate with System Administrators for implementation
Participate in testing and evaluating hardware and software in collaboration with IT staff
Modify existing hardware and software to meet specific needs
Maintain peripherals such as printers
Requirements
Must be enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in Information Technology or related field.
Knowledge of MS Windows desktop and Microsoft Office is required.
Strong communication skills and innovative thinking are essential.
Ability to work with the IT team to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolutions in a user-friendly professional manner.
