Job Description

This role involves leading healthcare architecture projects as a subject matter expert, collaborating with teams to develop innovative planning and design solutions, and translating concepts into construction documentation while maintaining client relationships and incorporating sustainable design practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead programming and planning for healthcare projects under a licensed Architect.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize plans.
  • Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
  • Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
  • Assist in developing architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning concepts into construction documents.
  • Develop and review planning concepts and solutions.
  • Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
  • Must have prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects.
  • Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
  • Must possess business acumen.
  • Must be a critical thinker.
  • Must be highly analytical.
  • Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
  • Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
