Job Description
This role involves leading healthcare architecture projects as a subject matter expert, collaborating with teams to develop innovative planning and design solutions, and translating concepts into construction documentation while maintaining client relationships and incorporating sustainable design practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead programming and planning for healthcare projects under a licensed Architect.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize plans.
- Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
- Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
- Assist in developing architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning concepts into construction documents.
- Develop and review planning concepts and solutions.
- Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
- Must have prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects.
- Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
