This role involves contributing to architectural design, coordination, and detailing within a multidisciplinary team, supporting project development from concept through construction, and collaborating with clients and consultants under the supervision of licensed architects.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects.
Assist in coordinating engineering systems with consultants and engineers.
Maintain communication with owners and consultants regarding project status and design concerns.
Prepare design sketches for site plans and ensure project documents are coordinated across disciplines.
Evaluate designs for code compliance and assist in plan review and approvals.
Perform field site observations and walk-throughs of project sites.
Coordinate project tasks with team members and potentially supervise or mentor interns and junior staff.
Take leadership roles in project team meetings and potentially participate in marketing proposals.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or related field required.
Minimum 6 years of related professional experience required.
Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
Must be a fully qualified professional.
Must be a critical thinker and highly analytical.
Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
Ability to independently contribute to design, production, coordination, and architectural detailing as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to assist in coordination of engineering systems with engineers and consultants.
Ability to evaluate design for code compliance and assist in plan check review and approvals.
Ability to prepare design sketches of moderate to complex site plans.
Ability to communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
Ability to perform field site observations, including physical walk-through of the site.
Ability to supervise, monitor, train, and direct work of interns and less experienced team members.
Ability to take a leadership role within the project team and in team meetings.
Must be able to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work.
