This role involves leading and developing the Health market within CannonDesign's Texas offices, focusing on strategic growth, client engagement, team leadership, and delivering integrated design services aligned with Living-Centered Design principles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Health market within the Texas offices, including creating and executing the market business plan.
Drive business development by identifying new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and promoting integrated design services.
Lead client and project teams, actively participating in project work and serving as a client leader or subject matter expert.
Identify market trends and opportunities to foster growth and innovation in health design.
Collaborate with firm leadership to implement business plan initiatives and achieve profitability targets.
Assess, mentor, and recruit staff to build a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive team.
Represent the firm externally to enhance brand presence and promote Living-Centered Design principles.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in a relevant field required.
Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the health market.
Strong presentations skills are essential.
Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy is needed.
Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully is essential.
Ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
Must be able to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
Some travel required.
