Job Description
This position is a senior project management and team leadership role within an architectural or design firm, responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, mentoring staff, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships to generate future opportunities.
- Lead project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals.
- Manage design, documentation, and implementation during construction.
- Coordinate project work plans, budgets, and schedules using tools like MS Project and Deltek.
- Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and quality assurance through QA/QC processes.
- Mentor and manage team members, providing feedback and fostering a positive team environment.
- Communicate project objectives, updates, and issues clearly to clients and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years related experience in health, education and ST (assumed to be a specific sector or specialty) required.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for single or multiple projects.
- Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must have advanced knowledge in discipline.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must have strong client leadership skills.
- Strong project team management skills, capable of managing single or multiple projects.
- Must be capable of leading and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
