Job Description

The Performance Analytics Manager is responsible for developing and executing scalable data systems and analytics to optimize operational, financial, and forecasting performance across a renewable energy portfolio, bridging engineering performance with financial insights, and leading data governance and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of scalable data systems and analytics for operational, financial, and forecasting excellence.
  • Build and maintain monthly and annual forecasting infrastructure.
  • Develop performance reports and executive-level analytics.
  • Manage complex data pipelines and oversee dashboard development.
  • Guide automation initiatives to improve data processes.
  • Mentor analysts and establish best practices for data governance and reporting.
  • Translate asset performance data into data-driven financial and operational forecasts.
  • Bridge engineering performance analytics with financial forecasting.

Requirements

  • Experience leading the strategy, development, and execution of scalable data systems and analytics that drive operational, financial, and forecasting excellence across a renewable energy portfolio.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain monthly and annual forecasting infrastructure, performance reporting, and executive-level analytics.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex data pipelines and overseeing dashboard development.
  • Experience guiding automation initiatives related to data systems and analytics.
  • Ability to mentor analysts and set best practices for data governance and reporting.
  • Technical understanding of asset performance and its translation into data-driven forecasting.
  • Experience bridging engineering performance analytics with financial forecasting.
  • Demonstrated experience working at the intersection of Asset Management, Financial Asset Management (FAM), Project Finance, and Accounting.
  • Experience working with renewable energy assets such as solar, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical asset performance data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining performance reporting and forecasting infrastructure for renewable energy assets.
  • Proficiency in managing data pipelines, dashboard development, and automation tools relevant to energy asset management.
  • Ability to work in a hands-on role with a focus on both strategy and execution.
  • Experience mentoring and leading analysts or data teams in a technical environment.
  • Understanding of renewable energy industry operations, asset performance metrics, and financial forecasting related to renewable energy projects.
