Job Description
This position is a senior project management role within an architecture and design firm, responsible for leading project teams, managing client relationships, overseeing design and construction processes, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships to generate future opportunities
- Lead project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals
- Manage design, documentation, and implementation during construction
- Coordinate project work plans, budgets, and schedules
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks
- Mentor and manage team members, fostering a positive team environment
- Communicate project objectives and progress to clients and team members
- Participate in business development and client presentations
- Oversee contract negotiations and project documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years related experience in health, education and ST (assumed to be a specific sector or specialization) required.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for single or multiple projects.
- Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must have advanced knowledge in discipline.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must have strong client leadership skills.
- Strong project team management skills, capable of managing single or multiple projects.
- Must be capable of leading and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
