Job Description
This position involves leading project management and team leadership within an architectural or design firm, focusing on client relations, project delivery, process management, and team development to ensure high-quality, profitable projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop client relationships to secure future opportunities
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to meet objectives
- Oversee design and documentation processes during construction
- Coordinate and lead project teams, providing mentorship and ensuring effective communication
- Develop and implement project work plans, risk management, and compliance strategies
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control standards
- Facilitate client communication and obtain approvals for scope changes and payables
- Participate in business development activities and support firm growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a relevant field is required.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
- Experience managing health projects is required.
- Current licensure or registration in Canada preferred.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess business acumen.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with and lead the project team and client is essential.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
