Job Description

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for providing analytical, financial, and management support for large, multi-office projects, including data analysis, budget management, reporting, contract review, and team collaboration to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and report on project revenue, performance, and profitability forecasts
  • Review and verify consultant contracts, invoices, and project budgets
  • Manage project invoicing, collections, and financial record-keeping
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and cost estimates
  • Generate reports and analyze data to monitor project status and performance
  • Coordinate communication with clients and internal teams, including preparing documentation and correspondence
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure adherence to standards and improve processes
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing project contracts and scope changes
  • Perform schedule and time impact analyses as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience required in project control activities, including progress tracking, data analysis, reporting, managing complex spreadsheets, and consolidating data from multiple sources.
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools including MS Project.
  • Some experience with Procore or Primavera 6.
  • Strong familiarity with PowerBI.
  • Deltek Vision experience preferred.
  • MS Scheduling applications knowledge is preferred but not required.
