Job Description
The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for providing analytical, financial, and management support for large, multi-office projects, including data analysis, budget management, reporting, contract review, and team collaboration to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and report on project revenue, performance, and profitability forecasts
- Review and verify consultant contracts, invoices, and project budgets
- Manage project invoicing, collections, and financial record-keeping
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and cost estimates
- Generate reports and analyze data to monitor project status and performance
- Coordinate communication with clients and internal teams, including preparing documentation and correspondence
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure adherence to standards and improve processes
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing project contracts and scope changes
- Perform schedule and time impact analyses as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years related experience required in project control activities, including progress tracking, data analysis, reporting, managing complex spreadsheets, and consolidating data from multiple sources.
- Minimum Associate's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools including MS Project.
- Some experience with Procore or Primavera 6.
- Strong familiarity with PowerBI.
- Deltek Vision experience preferred.
- MS Scheduling applications knowledge is preferred but not required.
